Lye Ogunsanya is an international development executive, humanitarian innovator, and US State Department IVLP alumnus, recently recognized as the Male Champion of Change at the 2024 Women in STEM Summit. Known for his expertise in advancing dual-use technologies, Lye has led inclusive and transformative initiatives across Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Colombia, and the Mediterranean.
As a strong advocate for GovTech and democratising access, Lye leverages technology to address pressing societal challenges. As the founding CEO of Dídean, he played a pivotal role in shaping Ireland’s refugee accommodation policies. Lye’s impactful work has earned him significant recognitions, including the UNICEF Champion for Children Award and the IUSA Emerging Leader Award in 2022. Lye is a graduate of Dublin City University and Trinity College Dublin. He serves on the board of Temple Bar Gallery+studios, Headfort School and World-vision Ireland.
