Jen Keane is a graduate of NUI Maynooth and The Open University, and has been working in technology for almost 20 years. Gender equality has always been a strong personal interest, especially as she’s progressed through her own career in technology. She has driven programs such as GirlSmarts4Tech (SAP Ireland) and outreach programs with Ballycullen Family Resource Centre (PTC Ireland) to encourage young girls to remain in STEM subjects, developing resources for teachers and students, writing grant applications, and running events to show kids that tech can be inclusive and fun.
Jen is the founder of PayGap.ie, an award-winning central portal for Irish gender pay gap reports. PayGap.ie aims to make gender pay gap data as accessible and understandable as possible, and she hopes to use this gathered data to drive positive social change.
