Susan Leavy is an Assistant Professor in the School of Information and Communication with research interests concerning artificial intelligence, text analytics and AI Ethics. She is currently working on projects to mitigate bias and discrimination in AI and is developing a platform to evaluate the social impact of recommender algorithms. Susan is a member of the Irish government’s AI Advisory Council and Irish Delegate at GPAI (Global Partnership on AI) in the Responsible AI Working Group.
