Breda McCague

Breda McCague is an energetic, driven, impressive Transformation Specialist whose biggest passion is Motivating and Engaging People!  She delivers authentic keynote presentations to large groups on Motivation, Leadership, Empowerment, Emotional Intelligence, Branding and Networking. She also delivers a multitude of Inspiring Innovative talks on Culture Change, Diversity and Inclusion across Organisations and Industries across the world. She is a TED.com speaker, having been published on the Global TED platform in 2022 with her popular talk on Mindset & Perspective Swaps. Breda Co-Founded and Co-Leads the Lean-In-Ireland organisation. Lean-In is an international organisation, founded by Sheryl Sandberg Former COO of Facebook in the United States. As part of the roll out of Lean-In-Ireland, Breda has successfully created a number of peer mentoring networks across large corporates, industries and a variety of communities for women in the workplace. Having also worked in CEO-2 positions across Global Financial Services for almost 24 years, Breda has driven and overseen extensive critical Transformation programmes across a number of International banking brands, working hybrid with teams all over the world since 2009. She was also once ‘Lieutenant McCague’ as she spent 20 years in the Reserve Defence Forces having been the first female to be commissioned as an Officer in her unit. She commanded Platoons and Company of soldiers for many years, learning to Motivate, Inspire and Lead her People. She is now often requested to deliver talks for companies and conferences on applying Agile, Growth Mindsets, Teamwork, Transformation, Leadership and Communication Brilliance amongst other topics. She plays music with two bands, one Rock, and one traditional. She now runs her own Keynote Talks, Coaching and Leadership Training Business called AIMING4AWESOME Ltd, travels extensively and is a Single Mum to three young boys. Breda believes in using Social Media for good, networking & researching across the many platforms to build new communities and collaborations.
